Biography

Red River Steakhouse in Lawton, Oklahoma

Elizabeth Mercer and Erik Sunderman are self taught artist from Oklahoma City. They are part owners of Gallery 66, the only art gallery in Bethany, which also sells antiques and jewelry. They started their artist careers working for Artistic License Design Group and soon went on to create their own bussiness called Artists At Large. They specialize in canvas works, murals, and hand painted signs. Erik trained Elizabeth to paint in a similar style to his, so working together is a breeze and artistic styles are consistent for large projects. The two have painted statewide and have had comissioned works out of state as well. Some of the popular sites are: Sauced on the Paseo (featured in the 2007 Oklahoma Centennial book), dioramas for the Ft. Sill Artillery Museum, a Coca-Cola mural for the Sweet Pea in Guthrie (now closed but, was also featured in the 2007 Oklahoma Centenial book), and Cafe Do Brazil. Their talents have also been seen on the Extreme Home Makeover Edition in Slaughterville, Oklahoma.
